A beautiful window opened into nature with this ruinous setup that is composed nicely to blend into the arboretum. The arboretum is a place of wonder and knowledge, but it is also a testament to the man-made category of nature that is no longer wild. I originally wanted to title this picture as the “Window into the Wilds”, but it would not have been fitting nor true. However, it is more interesting to philosophise on this theme, whether we still have true nature or wild places. There is no wild here that is for certain, at the same time, however, there is the peace of nature that human civilisation have idolised which you can find in this beautiful arboretum that have claimed a piece of the city’s urban reality.
